The Day and life of a Peterborough Realtor and Selwyn family man. Journal 3

On Friday after work Susan and I decided to go to the cottage for the weekend even though we would not be there much! We arrived and got the heat on which was not a bad thing since the temps were falling quickly this weekend. We settled in for the night and had a few drinks watching the hockey game. This was good and relaxing. Kids even played quietly. I would need it as Saturday I knew was going to be nuts.

Saturday we were up and gone early in the morning. My son had one game in Ennismore and my oldest daughter had a game at Northcrest and a practice in Lakefield. I was also able to squeeze showings in the blanks between ice times. it made for a full day that is for sure.

One of my stops on Saturday morning was at Tim Hortons in Bridgenorth. I could not believe that the parking lot and drive through was practically empty. That said 25 cars pulled in behind me so it did not last long.

After a long day of running all over the place we stopped at the house to check on things before we went to the cottage. We did see some birds around the feeder and a little Dove pressed against the window looking for some warmth.

On Sunday we were back up early in the morning as my daughter had a hockey game back in Ennismore. It snowed over night and I took this shot of Eels Creek before we left Apsley. After the hockey game in Ennismore I ran back to Norwood area for a showing. No shortage of miles!

During Sunday afternoon I worked on two offers on 2 listings that I had in Peterborough. It was nice to have both listings conditionally sold. Congratulations to my sellers!

I went home to referee 3 kids who decided to fight all afternoon. Once I got all that sorted out we had dinner and I watched a terrible Leaf game. Go Leafs Go!
